Marilee Ann Daugherity – Founder, CEO of Premier Choice and Managing Member 

With over twenty years of experience in the independent and the captive insurance markets, Marilee Daugherity now specializes exclusively in the independent market. Marilee has helped numerous agents and agencies get started in the insurance industry by simplifying the process and teaching them how to gain and maintain control of their books. Her agencies have hit national records including “Agency of the Year”, and she has been featured in prominent national insurance publications. As a top-producing agent, Marilee has served on several national agent advisory panels providing important feedback for industry improvements and needed changes. She holds a master’s degree in Management and strives to raise the bar to provide better contracts, commissions and regulations for insurance professionals.

Nicole Herrara – CFO and Managing Member

Nicole Herrara joined Premier Choice Tax & Accounting Solutions with 12 years of experience in restaurant management and bookkeeping. She specializes in monthly bookkeeping, including tracking of expenses and management of payroll accounts, including filing of payroll and quarterly reports. Nicole has an associates degree in Accounting and is working on her Enrolled Agent (EA) certificate. She is also a member of the Missouri Society of Accountants. Nicole’s organization, diligence and strategic thinking make her an asset for any small business.
